The problem is that life moves quickly. Phones get replaced. Accounts get deleted. Passwords get lost. Photos stay trapped on old devices. Stories are told once, and then no one writes them down.
When someone passes away, many families discover too late that important pieces of a life were scattered across too many places.
Ofrendas was created to change that. To gather what matters. To make sure memories do not depend on a box, an old phone, or a forgotten account.
What we are building

Ofrendas was not built for public attention. It was not built for followers, comments from strangers, or algorithms. It was built for families.

The meaning
Inspired by a tradition of remembrance.
The name Ofrendas comes from the tradition of creating an ofrenda: a space dedicated to remembering, honoring, and keeping present loved ones who have passed.
While the word is often associated with Día de Muertos, Ofrendas is not only for one culture, one holiday, or one tradition. The desire to remember exists everywhere.
Every family has its own ways of remembering. Some light candles. Some tell stories. Some visit graves. Some preserve photographs. The act changes. The love behind that act is universal.
Ofrendas is not a social network.
It was not built for followers, algorithms, ads, or public posts. It was built for family memory.

Our privacy promise
Your family story should remain yours.
Ofrendas are private by design. There are no public Ofrenda profiles and no public search of private family spaces.
Only invited people can enter. The family decides who to invite and who their memories are shared with.
Legacy Families is a separate, optional public recognition. Participation does not make an Ofrenda or its memories public.
Preservation can start small
Every family should be able to begin.
Preserving a family story should not require starting with a large collection. Sometimes it begins with one photograph, one story, or one moment.
That is why Ofrenda Free lets a family begin at no cost. If they later need more space or more family members involved, that same Ofrenda can grow with them through Ofrenda Legacy.
We are building for the next generation.
A child should be able to learn the stories of their grandparents. A grandchild should be able to see photographs, discover memories, and understand what traditions shaped their family.
Remembrance is not only about the past. It also helps people understand who they are, where they came from, and what love shaped them.
