What is Ofrendas?
Ofrendas is a private, family-held, invitation-only space to preserve photos, videos, stories, traditions, and meaningful memories from a life.
Is my Ofrenda public?
No. Your Ofrenda is private, not searchable, and has no public profile. Only invited people can access it.
Can Google find my Ofrenda?
No. Ofrendas are private by design. They do not appear in public search results and can only be accessed by invited people.
Who can invite others?
Both the Legacy Keeper and Guardians can create and share private invitations with trusted family members.
What roles exist within an Ofrenda?
Each Ofrenda begins with a Legacy Keeper and can include Guardians. The Legacy Keeper manages the Ofrenda. Guardians are trusted family members who can view memories, contribute content, and invite other family members.
Can I start for free?
Yes. Ofrenda Free costs $0, requires no card, and has no monthly subscription. It includes 1 GB of storage and up to 5 Guardians.
What is the difference between Ofrenda Free and Ofrenda Legacy?
Ofrenda Free includes 1 GB of storage and up to 5 Guardians. Ofrenda Legacy is a one-time $59.99 purchase and includes 10 GB of storage, unlimited Guardians, and access to a downloadable complete Ofrenda archive. Both plans are private, invitation-only, ad-free, and have no monthly subscription.
Can I upgrade an Ofrenda Free later?
Yes. The Legacy Keeper can upgrade an Ofrenda Free to Ofrenda Legacy at any time. The same Ofrenda is upgraded, so its memories, portrait, Guardians, and history remain intact.
Who can upgrade an Ofrenda to Legacy?
Only that Ofrenda’s Legacy Keeper can purchase the upgrade to Ofrenda Legacy.
Can I upload videos?
Yes. Both Ofrenda Free and Ofrenda Legacy support videos up to 3 minutes each. There is no fixed number of videos; photos and videos use the Ofrenda’s available storage.
Does the Ofrenda portrait count toward my storage?
No. The main Ofrenda portrait does not count against the 1 GB or 10 GB storage allowance. Ofrenda storage is used for media added as memories.
What happens when an Ofrenda Free reaches 5 Guardians?
The family can continue using the Ofrenda with its existing members, but additional Guardians cannot join until a spot becomes available or the Legacy Keeper upgrades the Ofrenda to Legacy.
What happens when I reach my storage limit?
You will not be able to add new media that exceeds the available storage. Ofrenda Free includes 1 GB and Ofrenda Legacy includes 10 GB. Additional storage options may be offered separately in the future.
How is Ofrendas different from social media?
Social media is designed for public sharing, engagement, and showing content to an audience. Ofrendas is designed for private family remembrance shared only with the people your family invites.
What happens to my Ofrenda in the future?
Ofrendas is designed around long-term preservation. Our goal is to help families preserve memories, stories, photos, videos, and traditions for future generations.
Do you sell my data?
No. Ofrendas does not sell your family’s personal data or private memories.
Are there ads?
No. Neither Ofrenda Free nor Ofrenda Legacy has ads, public feeds, or social algorithms.
Can an Ofrenda be deleted?
Ofrendas are designed to preserve family memories for future generations. To help protect those memories, Ofrendas cannot be deleted by family members. In rare legal, ethical, or safety situations, the Ofrendas team may review a request.
What are Legacy Families?
Legacy Families is an optional public recognition for eligible families who were among the earliest supporters of Ofrendas. When a family participates, only the approved Ofrenda name and portrait are displayed. The Ofrenda, its memories, members, and invitations remain private.
Does every Ofrenda Legacy appear in Legacy Families?
No. Ofrenda Legacy is the name of the paid plan. Legacy Families is a separate, limited public recognition. Having an Ofrenda Legacy does not mean your family will appear publicly.
